I have been vaping now for 2 months using your standered ego I'm now wanting to move up and get a itaste vv v3 or a X6 . In your alls opinion which should I get ? Or should I invest the extra money and get both ?

In my opinion you would be better off with an Itaste VV/V3. Innokin is making some really good stuff these days and the X6 is rather unheard of. You will get true VV/VW with the Itaste and the X6 has only 3 settings to change voltages. The Itaste can also be used as a pass through, so you can vape while charging if you choose to. The X6 looks kind of cheaply made where as the Itaste looks like it is a nice solid device. If you are looking for more of a bigger size mod I have to suggest the Itaste SVD. I really think the Itaste is better than the X6, you won't be disappointed.

I agree with Steve innokin is putting out some good hardware. You cannot go wrong with the svd or the itaste vv v3 they are both really good products. Read user reviews on all of the products you are considering that will tell it all.

I have a couple iTaste and love 'em. You'll only get about 160-170 puffs before it needs a recharge, though. I use those when I'm out running around and a Vamo at night for longer battery life. Variable wattage is a nice feature to consider when purchasing hardware since you don't have to worry as much about what ohms your tank, carto etc is when you attach it.

I have very little knowledge of vw and some on vv so vw is deff something I am going to half to look into ! To be honest I'm not really sure what the diffrance is in vv and vw so If you all know of any forms or links that would help a beginner out I'd greatly appreciate it :)

I snagged a couple video's on YouTube, hope it helps

YouTube is great for answering lots of questions, product and ejuice reviews. I found a lot of information searching around on there when I first starting vaping :)

I am with Steve on this, I have the SVD and 4 Itaste vv vw 3 they are just great, the best IMO.

Variable wattage is the better setting, you set it and it will automatically adjust your voltage to the resistence of your device. Variable voltage will set the volts to fire your device at, regardless of the resistence of your device. Variable wattage is the preferred method of using a protected mod, much easier to use and less chance of blowing up your coil.

Pretty much it. Ultimately you're ending up with a certain number of watts of power at the coil based on the resistance of the coil and the voltage applied, so setting wattage is a much more straightforward method of setting the power level. 9 watts will feel about the same regardless of if you put on a 1.8 ohm coil or a 3.0 ohm coil, you never have to worry about really changing the power setting. Using voltage you might be set for say 4.0 or 4.1 volts and it vapes great on your 1.8 ohm clearomizer then you put on a 3 ohm carto and the vapor output is very low unless you adjust the voltage. That's why with devices like the kick it doesn't matter a whole lot that you have to open the device to adjust it, you'll rarely need to touch the dial after you get it fine tuned to your preference. There are some exceptions… one example for me is that 10 watts is fine for my protank and cartos and most other things, but I find on my Vivi Nova it starts to get that silica taste and some dry hits vaping higher than about 8.5 to 9 watts. Ultimately I just dial mine in somewhere around 8 to 9 watts and that gives me suitable results with anything.

yeah, the iTaste VW v3 is definitely a good buy…been looking at it myself for a backup. Love my Vamo but the stainless steel definitely get a little warm in direct sunlight… hoping the iTaste will be better.

Even some "stainless steel" MOD's aren't even steel… they're some plated brass or aluminum. If it starts turning colors at wear spots then it's something other kind of metal that's been plated and the plating is wearing through.

Nope… mine is pure SS. I tried scratching it to see. No wear spots or even fingerprints for that matter…just the scratch that I made myself Laugh
