Ok, so im using a Vission Spinner 1300mah vv battery and have both the protank 2 with 2.5ohm coils and the mt3s tank with 2.2ohm coils with the same mix ejuice but keep getting burnt taste from the protank 2 above 3.6v but the mt3s is fine even at 4ohm. I have swapped coils in the protank 2 with 2.2 and another 2.5 but same issue? I get good flavor but not as much vapor/hit on the protank unless I go to 3.8v and above which seems to burn. Any ideas?

I also have the halo triton with 2.2ohm and same juice and its great. No vv battery though.

Sounds to me like a wicking issue. I would try removing a flavor wick or 2 from the coil and see if it helps.

No pro lem, glad to help. I have had some wicking issues on those coils myself due to all vg juice.

How do you remove the extra wicks? Do you just pull them out the sides or do you need to open the atomizer to remove them? I'm having the same problem.

Yes you will have to open the atomizer. Its not hard. Once you get it open you will see two things. First is a coil with wick going through it. Second is some wicks laying on top of that coil. Most of the time, there are a few pieces of wick laying on top of the coil. From there is where you want to remove a wick. Gently grab one, perhaps with tweezers and pull it off. Then reassemble the atomizer. Here is a picture to help you understand what you should see when you open it. ** Keep in mind that the top wicks are just laying there and nothing will be holding them down once you have the atomizer open so be very gentle not to ruin the other top wicks. **
